Winter

In February we hosted a charity fundraiser in aid of The Terence Higgins Trust at RADA. The evening saw a host of cabaret acts from around London, including up and coming comic John Hopkins of Hopkins and Glover fame.. Act One of "Cannibals Alone" was read and the evening was rounded off with a raffle, with prizes including free membership to private member's club: Soho House.

Spring

In March Rob Kent's first stage play "The Surgeon and The Nurse won Best New Writer at The Lost Festival of New Talent in London. Adjudicator Adrian Brown described the work as " a most accomplished piece of new writing....very well realized....with two fine performances". The piece was directed by David Dorrian and starred Aidan Crowley and Tony Taras

April saw a staged reading of "The Shape Shifter" by RL Nesvet, directed by Kelly Wilkinson at The Space, Hampstead Theatre. The evening was a huge success- with 120 people in an 80 seater space! We received kind sponsorship from Silver Tongued Productions, Short and Girlie Productions and CastNet.

Spring + Summer

Connections by Cailin Harrison - A Rehearsed Reading
Directed by Christian Durham with Amber Agar and Angus Lindsay. Cailin is an American writer now residing in London. She has worked as a writer/producer for Nickleodean, Fox and CNBC. Her play "Time Out" was performed at The New York Fringe Festival 2001. This is her first reading in London.

Criminal Justice- a devised piece of reported theatre, directed by David Dorrian is one of the entries in this year's Lost Theatre Festival of New Talent. David's show "The Surgeon & The Nurse" won writer Rob Kent Best New Writer last year.

Urban Folk Tales by Daniel Reitz, directed by Christian Durham is another entry at The Lost Festival this year. This is a sharp piece of new writing that tackles prejudice in our society and its' ugly consequences.

Cannibals Alone by Steph de Ferie, developmental work continues. This is a transatlantic relationship- as Steph is USA based. Dan Coleman is the director on this. The play is a taut piece looking at what happens when government scare-mongering gets out of hand. What if anyone HIV positive was branded and put in camps to rot away? But it's about more than just an epidemic, the play deals with friendship, loyalty
